Turkish Angoras are one of the most outgoing and friendly of all cat breeds, the rare and beautiful Turkish Angora is considered a national treasure in Turkey, and has a fascinating history.

Turks are highly intelligent cats, often referred to as “dog like”.  They can be trained easily with careful determination and consistency.  

Turks are very playful and adaptable, readily accepting other cats and dogs, making them wonderful companions for any type of family. They are active and energetic for children, and yet affectionate and loving for older adults.

Turks are easy to maintain, they have a soft silky coat which rarely mats and requires only minimal grooming.  They do not have any pre-disposed health concerns, and are generally very healthy animals.

Turks come in a variety of colours and coat patterns.  The most sought after and popular being whites, with blue, green, copper or odd eyes.

We are a small cattery located in coastal North Carolina.

Our cats all live in the house with us; there is no separate “cattery” and they are raised “under foot”, which leads to a high level of socialization for our kittens. By the time they are ready to leave us for their forever home; they’re already used to the hustle and bustle of a home environment, and will readily adapt to the norms of their new territory.

While Turkish Angoras are highly intelligent and active, they are also extremely people-oriented. When playtime is over they will come to your lap and happily snuggle up to watch a movie with you.  

We are a TICA & CFA registered cattery, with our main breeding goals being health, temperament, and breed standards (in that order). We are proud of our cat’s accomplishments in the show ring, and regularly attend Cat Shows throughout the Northeast region.
